Description

1908-O 50C MS64 PCGS. The strike is rather meticulous throughout both sides of this near-Gem Barber half dollar, including full radials on all stars and limited weakness even at the problematic area of the reverse -- the upper-right shield stripes and the right-top eagle's wing nearby, both of which show far more detail than usual (and especially for an O-mint strike). Light golden-gray toning deepens to occasional tinges of pale charcoal on this difficult date.
