Judd-208, Famous Transitional Pattern

1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-253, Snow-PT28, R.1, PR61 ANACS. Similar to the issued 1859 Indian cent, but dated 1858. The low date, narrow bust tip, five leaf-clusters in wreath Pollock subvariety of this important transitional pattern. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Fully struck and flashy with iridescent lime-green, lilac-red, and apricot-gold toning. A fingerprint near the portrait and a small spot on the C in CENT identify this specimen.
