Description

1852 Double Eagle, MS62
Beautiful Color and Luster

1852 $20 MS62 PCGS. White-gold surfaces exude significant cartwheel luster. Moderate abrasions exist on both sides, but none are individually notable. The mintage of 1852 double eagles represented an inconsequential decrease from 1851's large production, and as such, it is still a common issue. This issue is slightly more common in Mint State than its prior year counterpart, according to certification data, but these are once again elusive overall and concentrated towards the low end of the grade distribution.(Registry values: N4719)
