1870 $5 XF40 NGC. The 1870 is a scarce, underrated issue with fewer than 100 survivors from a low mintage of 4,000 coins. This problem-free XF representative saw light circulation, but the deep orange-gold surfaces remain well-defined. Peppered abrasions are undistracting.
