1859-D Gold Dollar, MS61
Rare With CAC Seal
1859-D G$1 MS61 PCGS. CAC. Variety 11-O. Lemon-gold and
powder-blue toning adorn this unblemished and pleasing Dahlonega
dollar. The sole CAC MS61 example with one finer (7/13). As usual
for Variety 11-O, the strike is uneven. The portrait is fairly
crisp, though weakness is noted on the loops and knot of the
ribbon. A mere 4,952 pieces were struck. Population: 8 in 61, 17
