Stunning 1884-CC Dollar
MS67 Deep Mirror Prooflike

1884-CC $1 MS67 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. 1884-CC Mint State dollars are abundant in the marketplace, with even Gems being available without too much trouble. Prooflike and Deep Mirror Prooflike examples can also be located. DMPL's in the lofty grade of Superb Gem, such as the current offering, are another matter. PCGS and NGC have graded a mere three pieces each, and none finer.
The deeply mirrored fields of the current Superb Gem highlight the satiny devices that have benefited from a well executed strike. The surfaces of both sides are impeccably preserved and free of color, save for a couple of wisps of light gray at the upper left obverse margin. This coin exudes stunning eye appeal.
