Rare Sideways 4 Plantations Token, MS60
(1688) TOKEN American Plantations Token, Sidewise 4 MS60 PCGS. Breen-81. A rare die variety of which restrikes were not made, thus making it clear that this is a seventeenth century specimen. Unpriced in the Red Book in Uncirculated. No problems other than a few isolated spots of tin pest, as seen on virtually all original Plantation Tokens. Listed on page 20 of the 2002 Guide Book.From the David Bruce Collection.
