1804 1/2 C Plain 4, No Stems--Double Struck with Rotation--XF40 NGC. B-10, C-13, R.1. Both sides show evidence of the double strike. On the obverse, the date shows the most dramatic spread, while the fraction is also widely doubled on the reverse. Apparently, the Half Cent remained in the collar but shifted a degree or two counterclockwise between strikes.
