Description
1999-D Delaware Quarter on a Nickel Planchet
An Attractively Toned Near-Gem
1999-D Delaware Quarter -- Struck on a Nickel Planchet -- MS64
PCGS. The first of the Statehood quarter issues on an erroneous
five cent planchet. Toning is generally light and green-gold in
color. Luster is ample and inner detail solid, though the
peripheral letters show a "drawn" effect from the flow of
insufficient metal beneath the quarter dies.
