Louis XIV gold Louis d'or a la meche courte 1645D (Lyon), Laureate bust right/ A cross of four cruciform, crowned double L's, fleur de lis in angles, F-415, Gad-244, Dup-1419, Ciani-1781, 6.74 gm, lustrous AU. A rare, low mintage (8,150 pieces) issue of a very elusive type.
