Carlos IIII gold 8 Escudos 1791-SF Popayan, KM62.2, proper bust, choice toned AU, lovely old-time patina with abundant mint luster and a very sharp strike on both sides. The rim is rough in some areas, but there is no evidence of mounting or repair. A very attractive example of this scarce date.From the Besalú Collection.
