The 1850-D half eagle is a scarce issue with a mintage of just 43,984 pieces. The present apricot-gold representative is moderately abraded and shows its share of luster, particularly within the legends. Traces of pale blue powder residue in protected regions confirm the originality.(Registry values: P3)
