Near-Mint 1851-D Gold Dollar
Prominently Clashed Dies
1851-D G$1 AU58 PCGS. Variety 3-E. Lemon-gold toning is
prevalent aside from glimpses of lilac on the obverse field.
Impressively devoid of abrasions, though the strike is incomplete
on the hair above the ear. A minute speck of aqua residue is on the
left serif of the mintmark. Struck from clashed dies. A rare
