Description
1901 Liberty Ten, MS66+
Ideal Type Coin
1901 $10 MS66+ PCGS. The 1901 Liberty eagle was produced in
large numbers and the date is reasonably available in high grade
today, making it a favorite with type collectors. The population
thins out dramatically above the Gem level, however, and high-end
Premium Gems, like the present coin, are quite rare. The design
elements are sharply detailed and the well-preserved peach-gold
surfaces radiate vibrant mint luster. Population: 29 in 66 (1 in
66+), 1 finer (12/13).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 267P, PCGS# 8747, Greysheet# 9422)
Weight: 16.72 grams
Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
