Low-Production Branch Mint Issue
1893-S 50C MS64 NGC. The 1893-S is an elusive, low-mintage
issue struck to the extent of 740,000 coins. This appealing Choice
Barber half offers brilliant surfaces with subtle golden accents,
coruscating luster, and a bold strike. A couple of wispy marks on
the cheek limit the grade, but this coin is high-end nevertheless.
