Description
1873 3CN Closed 3 MS65 PCGS. The shimmering, cartwheel luster appears at first glance to be brilliant but there is just the lightest overlay of light streaky russet patina on each side. The design elements are generally well struck, though the first pillar of the III displays some weakness in the middle. The surfaces are well preserved, showing no significant marks. A lovely business strike. Population: 24 in 65, 7 finer (3/05).(#3739) (Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2758, PCGS# 3739, Greysheet# 2775)
