1858-S Twenty Dollar, AU55
An Overlooked Type One S-Mint
1858-S $20 AU55 NGC. The 1858-S is an overlooked issue when
it is compared to the large numbers of high grade 1856-S and 1857-S
twenties that were recovered from the S.S. Central America.
This is a light reddish-gold example that retains significant mint
luster around the devices. Uncommonly clean surfaces for an
AU55.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2699, PCGS# 8925, Greysheet# 9894)

Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
