Description

Lightly Toned 1923-S Half Dollar, MS64

1923-S 50C MS64 PCGS. The 1923-S is the lone half dollar delivery between 1921 and 1927, and an issue that apparently saw extensive circulation that precluded the survival of numerous high grade examples. This is an original coin layered in speckled steel-gray patina and a deeper crescent of apricot toning along the left side of the obverse. Fairly well struck, lustrous, and nicely preserved.
