Description
Finest Known 1887 Three Cent Nickel Piece
1887 MS 67 PCGS. One of the scarcest business strike dates in the series, there were only 5,001 coined for circulation. This figure includes the 1887/6 overdate variety also. This specimen exhibits a bright, satiny, untoned appearance. All details are well struck up and very sharp, even though there are signs of die clashing.
