1842-O 50C Small Date, Reverse of 1839--Cleaned--ANACS. AU Details, Net XF40. WB-101. Scarce in all grades, the 1842-O Small Date is much scarcer than its Medium Date, Large Letters counterpart. This moderately hairlined example has lavender-gray centers and peripheral dusky sea-green patina. The eagle's left (facing) leg and Liberty's chest are softly struck, while the borders and the remainder of the eagle are sharp.
