Attractive, Affordable 1795 Flowing Hair Dollar
1795 $1 Flowing Hair, Three Leaves--Rim Damaged--ANACS. XF Details, Net VF20. B-5, BB-27, R.1. A 'bar" behind the highest curl pointing toward star 5 confirms the familiar variety, as does a tiny curved "tail" extending downward from the fourth curl. The surfaces are a deep steel-gray color and there are no singularly mentionable abrasions.
