Description

1852-O Twenty Dollar, AU50
Attractive, O-Mint Type

1852-O $20 AU50 PCGS. Although no New Orleans double eagle from the 1850s is common in an absolute sense, the first three years of the series (1850 through 1852) are the most available dates for O-Mint collectors. This reflective, lightly circulated example is a rich-gold color with only a few light abrasions. The devices remain bold. An attractive, early New Orleans issue, desirable for type.(Registry values: N1793)
