1787 1/2 C Massachusetts Half Cent MS64 Brown PCGS. Ryder 4-C, R.2. The unabraded and glossy medium brown fields provide excellent eye appeal, and the crisply struck devices are mahogany-brown. Glimpses of rose patina emerge from the peripheral legends. An exemplary example of this popular Federation-era type. Listed on page 57 of the 2008 Guide Book.
