Description
Vibrant 1911 Indian Half Eagle MS65
1911 $5 MS65 PCGS. The second of two Gem examples, a particularly noteworthy offering since over the past ten years Heritage has sold just three other MS65 examples through auction. This vibrant 1911 Five is boldly struck, even on the lowermost feathers of the headdress and on the eagle's shoulder feathers. The golden-orange surfaces are fully lustrous with a slightly granular texture, as nearly always, and there are no marks of any consequence on either side.(#8520) (Registry values: P2, N13650)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DP, PCGS# 8520, Greysheet# 9311)
