   Description
MS66 Prooflike 1878-CC Morgan Silver Dollar
1878-CC $1 MS66 Prooflike PCGS. A fully prooflike representative of this important condition rarity among first-year Morgan Dollars, both sides are possessed of needle sharp striking definition in all areas. The silver-white features are untoned with modest, yet appreciable contrast between the devices and glowing fields. Grade-limiting abrasions are conspicuous by their absence, although pedigree concerns do compel us to mention a tiny, hardly conspicuous spot in the obverse field before the P in PLURIBUS. Population: 6 in 66 Prooflike, none are finer with this finish (1/03).From The New York "Eye Appeal" Collection.
