1974 Kennedy Half on a Taiwan 5 Yuan Flan
1974 50C Kennedy Half--Struck on a Taiwan 5 Yuan Planchet--AU55 PCGS. The U.S. Mint struck 5 Yuan pieces for the Republic of China (Taiwan) in 1974. These Yeoman-548 pieces were copper-nickel and slightly less in diameter than the Kennedy half dollar. This lightly circulated steel-blue and golden-brown wrong planchet example shows exhibits metal flow toward the rims, which are indistinct except on the right borders.(Registry values: N1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24UG, PCGS# 6722, Greysheet# 6916)
