Description
Uncirculated Details High Relief Saint-Gaudens
1907 $20 High Relief, Wire Rim--Rim Tooled--ANACS. Unc Details, Net AU55. Portions of the wire rim are unusually high, especially on the obverse, which has led to lesser damage to the raised wire rim such as file marks on the obverse at 12 o'clock and minor bruises on the reverse rim at 4 o'clock. Otherwise, an imposing example of this legendary, medal-like high-relief issue. Well struck aside from the characteristic softness on the rays near the sun and on Liberty's raised knee.
