Description
1969-D 10C Roosevelt Dime--Off Center, Obverse Clad Layer Only--MS65 PCGS. A curious double mint error. Struck several degrees off center toward 8:30, the piece partly wrapped around the obverse die with sufficient force to cleanly separate the obverse clad layer from the remainder of the coin. The untoned reverse shows an incused mirror image of the obverse, which has light gray-gold color.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23MA, PCGS# 5136, Greysheet# 4786)
