Lovely Gem 1849 Open Wreath Gold Dollar
1849 G$1 Open Wreath MS65 PCGS. Large Head, With L. Typically razor sharp with striated fields that impart a dazzling semi-reflective sheen. Both sides are cloaked in appealing orange-gold patina which easily compensates for a few wispy blemishes in the fields. Although widely saved, this first year Gold Dollar issue is seldom found finer.
