Double Struck P-mint Sacagawea Dollar
2000-P $1 Sacagawea Dollar--Double Struck, Second Strike 20% Off Center--MS66 PCGS. After having been struck once, this coin did not fully eject from the press before the dies came together again. The second impression is 20 percent off center and rotated approximately 30 percent clockwise. The date from the second impression is fully defined, that from the first is partially obscured with only the last two digits and the mintmark being visible. An important error, and a fitting complement to the multiple struck Sacagawea Dollar that we are also offering in this sale.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 259K, PCGS# 9584, Greysheet# 7992)
