1856 1C Slanted 5 MS64 Red NGC. N-14, R.1. The three short die lines from the right of the earlobe are diagnostic, as is the softness on the stars, the LIB in LIBERTY, and the bottom of the wreath. Flashy red color covers both sides of this minimally marked representative. A number of tiny carbon spots preclude a higher grade. MRB MS64.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 226N, PCGS# 1921, Greysheet# 1194)
