Near-Mint S-289 1812 Large Date Cent
1812 1C Large Date AU58 NGC. S-289, B-4, R.1. Classic Head cents are plentiful in dark, corroded, worn out condition. But sharp examples with only minor verdigris are elusive. This mahogany-brown representative has only slight friction on the upper leaves of the wreath, and none of the few marks are worthy of mention. Struck a couple of degrees off center toward 4:30.
