1795 $1 Flowing Hair, Three Leaves VF35 PCGS. B-5, BB-27, R.1. This is a plentiful die marriage, much favored by type collectors. A deeply toned specimen with charcoal-green surfaces that leave a bit of light-gray color on the exposed central high points. Forest-green and lilac iridescence occurs at the obverse periphery. Russet-gold accents appear on the higher points of the reverse. A superficial scratch resides just to the right of obverse stars 7 and 8. A patch of faint adjustment marks appears on the lower reverse field, but there are no other noteworthy marks on either side.(Registry values: N2998)
