Description
Three-Piece Lot of 1936 50C Bridgeport Half Dollars, MS64 to MS65 PCGS. The coins are individually holdered with consecutive certification numbers and display uniform satin luster with delicate russet-champagne toning. The coins are accompanied by their original blue and gold card presentation box, with its slots for all three coins. Also with the coin is the original postal-stamped mailing box. While the presentation box is occasionally seen for commemorative, it is very rare still preserved with its original mailing box, per Anthony Swiatek in his Encyclopedia of the Commemorative Coins of the United States.Ex: The Richard Jewell Collection (American Numismatic Rarities, 3/2005), part of lot 17.
