1938-D Half Dollar, MS67+
Rich Peripheral Toning

1938-D 50C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: Simpson. The 1938-D half dollar had the lowest mintage of any issue during the 1930s and 1940s, and is considered a key to the late date series. That total is less than half the second lowest mintage during the period when 1,001,200 Walking Liberty half dollars were coined at Denver in 1929.
