Desirable Gem 1872 Indian Head Cent, Red and Brown
1872 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. Heavy woodgrain toning envelops the surfaces of this coin, leaving considerable amounts of red visible. A vertical lamination is noted directly to the right of the denomination; however, post-strike surface contact is at a minimum and consistent with the grade. Strike weakness is visible on the right side of the shield. A desirable semi-key date Indian.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 227W, PCGS# 2104, Greysheet# 1324)
