Description

Select 1860-O Silver Dollar

1860-O $1 MS63 PCGS. Medium caramel-gold toning encroaches upon the obverse, while the reverse is close to brilliant. Lustrous and crisply struck with only moderate field marks. The 1860-O has a reputation as a "common" date, but while that may be the case in lower Uncirculated grades, the issue (and the type) is very scarce at the MS63 level. Population: 65 in 63, 25 finer (9/08).(Registry values: N2998)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24Z3, PCGS# 6950, Greysheet# 7227)

Weight: 26.73 grams

Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
