1890-S $1 MS65 Deep Prooflike NGC. At first glance, this coin could be mistaken for a proof, with its pristine fields and intense surface reflectivity. Thickly frosted devices contrast with blinding mirrors. Each side is essentially brilliant, with just a touch of pink-champagne at the rims. Between the Deep Prooflike fields and the lack of abrasions, this is a conditionally rare coin.
