1852-C $5 MS61 NGC. Variety 19-H. The date is entered slightly southwest relative to the less scarce Variety 18-H. The base of the 1 is lightly repunched. This straw-gold half eagle has noticeable luster and moderately abraded fields. The strike is good for its Charlotte Mint origin. Census: 8 in 61, 22 finer (1/08).(Registry values: P3)
