Description

Vivacious MS62 1893-CC Five

1893-CC $5 MS62 NGC. This lustrous green-gold representative appears conservatively assessed at first glance, and only thorough examination locates the concealed marks in the hair that limit its true grade. The final year Carson City half eagle has a much lower mintage than the "type" 1891-CC, and is correspondingly scarcer in Mint State. Census: 62 in 62, 32 finer (2/08).(Registry values: P2)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25YB, PCGS# 8384, Greysheet# 9090)

Weight: 8.36 grams

Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
