Few Known This Fine
1899-S 50C MS66 PCGS. The 1899-S Barber half dollar is
conditionally rare in MS66, and only a few finer pieces are
reported. This example is a contender for a Registry Set. Vibrantly
lustrous surfaces with yield a base of light golden toning with
freckled russet overlays on each side. No distracting abrasions are
seen, and eye appeal is pleasing. Population: 6 in 66 (1 in 66+), 4
