Description
1788 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Mailed Bust Left XF Details, Rim Damage, NCS. Miller 11-G, R.2. NCS has determined that the small clip at 6:30 was made after the piece was coined. Minor rim nicks are noted at 1 and 1:30 on the reverse. A richly detailed and relatively smooth mahogany-brown example. A die break from the I in INDE and a clash mark beneath the second N in CONNEC confirm a late die state. Listed on page 49 of the 2005 Guide Book.(#403)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2B3B, PCGS# 403, Greysheet# 231)
