Description

Significant 1795 Half Dollar, 2 Leaves, O-106, VG10

1795 50C 2 Leaves VG10 PCGS. O-106, R.6. This rare variety is easily identified by the reverse, which features the distinctive 9-10 berry pattern, with four berries below the eagle's right (facing) wing. An oddly shaped die break is also notable and completely bisects the reverse. Several shallow adjustment marks on the obverse translate to minor weakness on part of the reverse lettering. Pale gray patina covers the minimally marked surfaces of this desirable representative.(Registry values: N991)
