Lovely Obverse Toning
1878 7TF $1 Reverse of 1878 MS65+ PCGS. VAM-190, Missing
Nostril, Doubled Motto. Minor die doubling is evident on GOD WE on
the reverse. This Plus-designated Gem displays vibrant, frosty
cartwheel luster shining through obverse toning in shades of
rose-gold, pale yellow, mint-green, blue, and violet. The reverse
is brilliant aside from a rainbow halo around the border. Sharply
struck and eye-appealing.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2016), lot 8418.
