1859-D G$1 XF40 PCGS. Variety 11-N. Two reverse dies are known despite the tiny mintage of 4,952 pieces. The sun-gold surfaces are surprisingly devoid of abrasions, and wear is less than suggested by the grade due to a typical late-era Dahlonega strike.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25CN, PCGS# 7553, Greysheet# 8082)
