Flip-Over Double Struck 1795 Half Cent
1795 1/2 C Plain Edge, Punctuated Date--Flipover Double Struck--Damaged--ANACS. Fine Details. Net VG8. C-4, B-4, R.3. The most readily visible features of the double strike are on top of Liberty's cap on the obverse, with the letters AME clearly visible. Similarly, traces of the Liberty cap can be seen on the reverse at AME. Pleasing light to medium brown color with slight waves in the planchet. The surfaces are lightly scraped and scratched with evidence of light corrosion on the reverse. EAC 6.(Registry values: P6)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 1012, Greysheet# 444)
