1871 1C PR65 Red NGC. Shallow N. Delicate peach and sun-gold grace the flashy obverse. Dusky brick-red visits the satiny reverse. A meticulously struck Gem whose visible carbon is limited to an obverse speck near 12 o'clock. This low mintage cent is encased in a prior generation holder. Census: 15 in 65 Red, 2 finer (4/08).
