Description
Papal States. Leo XIII silver "25th Anniversary of His Pontificate" Medal ND (1903-Dated) MS65 NGC, cf. Rinaldi-96 (reverse only). 44mm. By F. Bianchi. Obverse features bust left of Pope Leo XIII wearing tiara and pallium while reverse displays St. Peter seated holding keys and book. Leo XIII led the Catholic Church for 25 years before passing away during July of this year of issue. Ethereal in-hand, this specimen glimmers with a bright rainbow iridescence.Metal: Silver
