Well-struck 6 Florins struck by the GWC in Pernambuco

Pernambuco. Geoctroyeede West-Indische Compagnie (GWC) 6 Guilders (Florins) 1646, KM6.2, Fr-2, better EF, 3.69 grams. Beautifully diagonal strike on the obverse and horizontal on the reverse. Usual die crack over the "A" in "BRAZIL". As the prior lot, this piece also precedes the finding of the Dutch galleon "Utrecht" where some of the Brazilian Ducats were found. From the Jacques Schulman Auction of November 1970 in Amsterdam. Extremely Rare.
