Description
Aureus Magnus gold Proof Medallic 100 Ducats 1963, KM-Unlisted (see KM-XM168 for type in 30 Ducats weight), PR63 Deep Cameo PCGS. A large private medallic issue commemorating the death of John F. Kennedy with dramatic cameo contrast. Some wispy hairlines and a few tiny ticks in the fields are the only signs of handling. These issues were produced in a number of denomination for Werner Graul by both the Vienna and Hamburg mints. The series is based on a pure-gold ducat weight of 0.1087 oz, which would put the AGW of this piece at 10.87 oz, just over 1/3 of a kilogram of gold.Metal: Gold
